GRR GARBE Retail appoints Jan Heidelmann to the Management Board

Nuremberg/Hamburg, 3 February 2025 – Asset and investment manager GRR GARBE Retail Real Estate GmbH (GRR GARBE Retail) has strengthened its leadership team with an experienced addition. With effect from 1 February, Jan Heidelmann has joined the management board, forming a leadership duo with Andreas Freier. GRR GARBE Retail specialises in retail real estate across Germany and Europe. Concurrently, Thomas Kallenbrunnen has stepped down as interim managing director to focus on his roles at GARBE Infrastructure and GARBE Capital & Strategy.

In his new role as Managing Director, Jan Heidelmann will be responsible for capital markets, fund and real estate management, and the commercial division. Andreas Freier will focus on transaction management, business development, asset management, and project management. GRR GARBE Retail is a key pillar of the ‘Sheds Strategy’. Alongside the ‘Beds’ and ‘Infrastructure’ business areas, it represents GARBE’s 360-degree approach.
Jan Heidelmann joins from MOMENI Group, where he held the position as Managing Director. A qualified lawyer, he has over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry. He has held senior positions in international investment management at FREO Germany, PGIM Germany, and Rockpoint Group.
