Steffen Uttich Appointed Managing Director to Lead Expansion of GARBE’s Investor Base in the DACH Region

Hamburg, 17 October 2024 – GARBE has announced the appointment of Steffen Uttich, former Managing Director of INBRIGHT Investment GmbH, as its new Managing Director, responsible for driving the company’s institutional investor relations. Uttich will focus on engaging professional investors across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. This expansion of the investor base aligns with GARBE’s broader strategy, “Sheds, Beds & Infrastructure,” which was highlighted during the recent adjustment to the organisational structure. In his new role, Uttich will leverage his extensive experience not only to strengthen investor relationships but also to contribute to product development.

Uttich will head the newly established GARBE Capital & Strategy Germany, a specialised internal advisory unit tasked with supporting GARBE’s international capital market activities, M&A transactions, and responses to special market situations.

GARBE continues to grow its team of capital markets professionals globally. In September 2024, the company established a new office in Singapore, led by Chenhui Xia, to expand its presence in the Asia-Pacific region. With Uttich’s appointment, GARBE strengthens its expertise in the DACH region.

A seasoned financial journalist and real estate economist, Steffen Uttich (54) brings a wealth of industry experience. After more than two decades as a finance and real estate journalist, most recently with Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Uttich transitioned to corporate roles, joining the Berlin-based developer and asset manager BEOS AG, where he served nearly ten years as Head of Fund Management and Capital Markets. In 2021, Uttich co-founded INBRIGHT Investment, the investment arm of an independent real estate developer and asset manager. Following the integration of INBRIGHT Investment into GARBE Insite, Uttich now assumes his new responsibilities at GARBE Capital & Strategy.
